Tea polysaccharide is the general technical term for the compound polysaccharides extracted from tea leaves. The protein part is composed of 20 common amino acids.Has the role of hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, enhance immunity, lower blood pressure,slow the heart rate, increase coronary blood flow, anti-coagulant, anti-thrombosis and hypoxia tolerance etc. In recent years has found that tea polysaccharide has the efficacy of treatment of diabetes.

Solubility

The solubility in hot water at 85-90℃ is 76%. No soluble in high concentrations of

ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, butanol and other organic solvents.
