Arbutin-skin lightening and whitening agents- effectively inhibits formation of melanin, splash and fleck can be removed and with no side effects. Arbutin can also moisten the skin and is used for skin lightening and whitening agents in the cosmetics. Arbutin can also used as a drug in pharmaceuticalfield.
Effects
1. It restrains the melanogenesis through the competitive blocking mechanism on tyrosinase.
2. It can diminish the senile lentigo, also effective for nevoid lentigo diminishing.
3. It can diminish the pigmentation caused by ultra-violet radiation.
4. It can improve the metabolism of sunburn skin caused by radiation.

Dosage Recommendations
Recommended amount of usage 3~7%. A better result can be expected when Arbutin is formulated
with sunscreen agent or alcohol. Arbutin can be added either in water directly or added at
the last step of formulation. Please keep the temperature below 70℃ at all times.
